The piano is a percussive string instrument whose sound is produced when the pianist presses one of the keys and it hits one of the strings that it has internally.

For a musician who wants to dedicate himself to the world of the piano, some of the facets that he must learn are the following:
- Adopt a relaxed position when playing that favors the action of the whole arm-forehand-hand on the keyboard.
- Control coordination between hands.
- Increase running speed and endurance
- Learn the different movements that arms and hands can execute: circular, lateral, rotational movements, falls, etc…
- Learn the different types of attack, dynamics and phrasing to be able to musically transmit what the work requires at each moment.
- Learn the fingering of the piano.
- Master the use of the pedals

Ranking by difficulty
Due to the large number of existing methods for this instrument, it is often difficult for us to find a method that suits our level, especially when the musician is still new.
For this reason, we wanted to classify all the methods available on this site according to the level of difficulty of the exercises.
