Contents of the Thompson Method
The Modern Course piano method (link to Amazon) is a set of several volumes written by the American musician John Thompson for those who are starting out in the world of the piano.
In it, Thompson explains how to play the piano in a correct way. It offers tips on how to develop the technique and the style adequately. It also includes a collection of simple exercises and basic-level songs to help students develop their technique.
Tips are offered to cover all the basic aspects of the piano, from hand position to reading musical notes. It is an excellent tool for those who want to start from scratch.
