End of MuseTube course!
This final video marks the official end of the MuseTube course. It’s not a technical lesson, but a personal reflection on what this project has meant to me over the last 10 months — a journey of learning, work, and building a community. This is my way of saying goodbye (for now) to everyone who’s been part of it from the start.
📺 A course that started unintentionally
It all began in December 2022 with a simple tutorial on MuseScore. I didn’t plan for it to grow, but as the channel gained momentum, I decided to build a full training course. Between August 2023 and June 2024, I published 41 videos — covering everything from beginner basics to the most advanced features. It’s been an unexpected but deeply rewarding journey.
🧭 How I structured the course
I used the official MuseScore 4 documentation as a foundation. My goal was to make sure no important concept was left out, no matter the user’s level — from installation and configuration, to VSTs, harmony analysis, alternative notation, and professional export workflows.
🎥 I learned a lot too
I’m not a video or editing expert. I started knowing very little, and learned everything as I went. I also deepened my knowledge of MuseScore while preparing each lesson. Yes, I made mistakes — I spoke too fast, improvised too much — but always with the intention to improve, and with the joy of knowing someone was watching on the other side.
🌍 A community that truly moved me
The most meaningful part has been reading your messages from so many places. Sometimes it’s hard for me to reply quickly because of time zones or work, but I try my best. Your comments have made all the effort worthwhile. Some of you told me this course helped you pass exams, prepare assignments, learn a new tool — or simply enjoy music more. That’s priceless.
⏳ A lot of time behind every video
Each 10–15 minute video took me about 4 hours to produce — from recording and editing to publishing. I’m not a professional YouTuber, and I worked on this during evenings, weekends, or late at night. But I put care into every step, and I did it gladly.
☕ Super Thanks: just in case you want to buy me a coffee
I recently activated the “Super Thanks” feature on YouTube. If you’d like to say thank you with a small donation — like buying me a coffee — you can. But you don’t have to. I’ll keep answering questions whether you donate or not. This isn’t a business — it’s a community.
🏁 An ending… or maybe a new beginning
The course ends here, but what we’ve shared will live on. MuseTube has become more than just a playlist — it’s a space to connect with others who love learning and growing through music. I don’t know what comes next, but I know this has been a success. Not because of views or money — but because of you.
Thank you for being there.
